If You Need Help Market Researching Your New Indie Game Idea So You Make A Game People Will Buy, Then Here's How I Can Help You...
If you're a small indie game dev with a new game idea, but you're not sure how to test and validate your idea to make sure it can be profitable, then here's how I can help you... what you get... and how much...
What You Get
My goal is to help you find demand for your game idea. And what I mean by demand, is something tangible like downloads, or followers, or play testers, or feedback.
I want to help you test your innovative game ideas at the small scale to see if it resonates with players BEFORE you spend years making a game that may or may not sell.
And you might have already gone through all that! You probably had a game that you made, tried to market, but it didn't sell. So here you are, trying again. But this time, you want to make sure you find a market first before you put in all that time, money, and energy into a new project -- that may or may not work.
Ok, let me show you exactly what you get, and how much...
Get A Free "Market Research Report" Before You Decide To Hire Me
Before we do anything formal, let's get to know each other first, and see if my marketing strategies are a good fit for you. So, here's what I'll do, and what you get with your free Report...
Part 1: Test The Market For Demand
The goal is to help you create a marketable game that players will want to play and buy.
To do that, I need to test the market and figure out what players want and need in your particular genre (i.e. market).
In other words, you don't want to enter an oversaturated market, or enter a market where there is zero demand.
Part 2: Validate Game Ideas And Features
So to test the market for demand, what I do is, I go directly to your potential audience, and ask them for their feedback.
I'll take your game ideas, features, story, themes, and then validate those ideas with potential customers.
The reason is, I want to learn directly from customers because they are the ones that will tell me if they will pay money for the game or not.
Part 3: Get Feedback
Getting player feedback is important because you can use this knowledge to improve your prototype. Get feedback. Iterate. Develop. Get more feedback. Iterate. ...and repeat.
That's how you slowly start crafting a game that people want to buy.
And please know, I'm not saying that we need to pander to the audience. Your vision and how you develop your game is very important. But at the same time, I need player feedback to make sure what YOU want is also what PLAYERS want.
Again, if there is NO demand for a game, then no amount of marketing is going to convince players to buy your game. That marketing will just add to the noise in an already overcrowded market.
This Report will help you make a decision on what direction you want your game to go. In other words, the feedback I get for you, you can use those insights to help you iterate your game idea, and come up with a game that players will buy.
Again, this report is free. There's no obligations or expectations. I just want to show you what I can do for you, and make sure that my marketing research tools and strategies are a good fit for you.
So once you and your team go over the "Market Research Report", and decide to go-head, then here's what else you'll get, and how much it costs...
The "Market Research Campaign"
Once you approve the free "Market Research Report", I'll get to work executing the plan. I call this part, the "Market Reach Campaign".
Here's what you'll get at the end of the campaign:
For $197 CAD, you get...
1. Help Setup A Store Page (Itch.io, Steam page, or Website) To Test Your Prototype
First, I need some sort of prototype to test. So you gotta at least have that. But once I have your prototype, I'll do the rest.
What I mean is, I'll take your assets, story, theme, game play, and prototype, and write the marketing for your page (as a Google doc). And then you take the Google doc, and publish it on your Store page (i.e. Itch.io, Steam Page, or website).
2. Drive Traffic To Your Store Page (Itch.io, Steam page, or Website)
There is two ways I'll get you traffic to your Store Page:
Contact users on Reddit. I'll go to the subreddits that align with your game idea. And I'll engage with people there to ask for their feedback, and direct them to your Store page. Reddit ads. Once I research your target players on Reddit, I'll take that info and create a small ad campaign on Reddit to drive traffic to your Store Page. The cost of these paid ads are part of your $197.
I'll provide you with all Reddit ad copy, and data analytics I collect.
3. Feedback Report: To Help You Develop A Game That Players Want To Buy
The reason feedback is so important is because once you know what players want and need, then you're more likely to create a game that when your target player sees it, they say:
"That's exactly what I'm looking for... I want to follow this dev!"
Again, my goal is to follow your vision of what you want your game to be... BUT also make sure that your vision aligns with what the market wants, too.
And this is also how you slowly build an audience. As I engage with people, and people go to your Store page, you will start building a fan base.
So at the end of your campaign, I'll put together a "Feedback Report". This Report will give you detailed insights about what players like about your game idea, and what they don't like. Use this data to help you set the direction of your game so that it's marketable.
How It Works
I will provide a Google Drive, where I will be posting my work, reports, and updates. So that way you can see the progress of your campaign at each step. Also, my goal is to also teach you what I've done. That way, when we conclude our campaign together, you can use these reports yourself and get the same results.
How Long Will This Take
This entire strategy takes about 2 - 3 weeks.
Again Here's Everything You Get:
For only $197 CAD, you get:
FREE Market Research Report:
All the info I've discovered when talking to potential customers. This Report is done before you commit to the paid campaign. No obligations. No expectations

Btw...
My name is Dariusz. I've launched and ran 3 successful startups (bio is below). I know what it's like to be a small team, have a very niche, weird, idea, and then try to sell it. I know what it's like to have no connections and no money to market. But I also figured out how to discover hidden markets that were highly profitable. And now I help other small indie game devs do the same.
Anyway, thanks for reading! And looking forward to helping you market research your indie game idea so that you create people will buy.
